Fine Art Appraisal, L.L.C.'s owner and president, Anne Kelly Lewis, is an Accredited Member appraiser with the International Society of Appraisers (ISA). Anne is 2024/2025 Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) compliant and practices as an appraiser under the ethics and standards set forth by ISA and USPAP.
FAA established in 2012, is owned, and operated by Anne Kelly Lewis, ISA AM. Anne is an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers. She served as the Vice President and President (2016-2019) of the North Texas Chapter of ISA (NTISA); served as a board member, Vice President, and President (2017-2020) of the Foundation for Appraisal Education (FAE); and co-chair of the international ISA Assets Conference in 2023. Anne earned her BA in Arts Management from the College of Charleston.
Anne was the director and in-house fine art appraiser at the established American fine art gallery in Dallas, Texas, David Dike Fine Art for 11 years. The gallery specializes in turn-of-the-century to mid-century American and European art. From 2008 - 2020, Anne also executed the highly successful David Dike Fine Art, Texas Art Auction. As gallery director and auction director, she has hands-on experience with the distribution and acquisition of fine art. Anne was the director of the William Campbell Gallery in Fort Worth, TX from 2023-2024. Over the last three decades, Anne has traveled across Europe and Mexico, exploring and studying fine art in renowned institutions, globally acclaimed art galleries, emerging galleries, and numerous artist studio visits building strong industry relationships.
Anne's experience, close involvement in private art transactions, and leadership within fine art auction sales sectors attest to her comprehension of value for different appraisal needs. Her knowledge of art and experience in fluctuating economic times have equipped her with a tight grip on the ever-changing art market which, makes the FAA appraisal experience effective and efficient. Her appointments in NTISA, FAE, ISA conference chairmanship involved planning and executing educational seminars for personal property appraisers. Among other activities, these involvements support and maintain the personal property appraising professional field.
